Michelin hit a home run with the Pilot Super Sport. Tons of grip, ride nice and very quiet for as wide as they are. Will be putting the same tires right back on.

I've had these tires for two years and I can't wait to replace them with another tire! The Good: They are a track tire. They handle hard turns without a problem. The side walls are solid and haven't felt any "give" yet. They grip the road hard. They are great in wet and dry conditions. They have good tread life. The Bad: They are loud! When brand new they were louder then my older tires that I had replaced. Roads with rain grooves are very annoying with these tires. They grip the rain grooves which causes the car to "feel" like its moving back and forth. Its so bad on some roads that I thought my wheel bearings were bad. I had Nissan check the alignment and bearings and they checked out great. Its the tread pattern on the tires that makes them do this. Road tilt can make it difficult to keep the car straight. These tires grip the road so much that they will follow the road tilt. Sometimes I have to fight it to keep it straight on a road with tilt. The conclusion: I expected so much more since these tires are Michelins. On a track with flat roads I'd give these tires a 4 out of 5. However, one must be alert when driving on roads with rain grooves and that have road tilt. I give these tires a 2 out of 5 on these surfaces. I will Not buy them again.

I purchased the Michelin Super Sport run flat tires after much research. The tires are quiet & handle exceptionally well. I don't put a lot of miles on my Corvette, so these tires should last me a long time. The Michelin Super Sport has a 30,000 mile warranty also which is great.

The Pilot Super Sports are incredible tires. They're quiet, comfortable, and they have incredible grip which are all things that can't be said about the stock Pirellis they put on the performance pack GT's. These grip better in the rain than the Pirellis did in the dry. I've never had better tires. These also weigh 2 lbs less per corner than the stock Pirellis.

So far so good! I only purchased two tires for the front of the vehicle. I did a mountain drive and loved them. They are very sticky like a 200 tread wear but have a more compliant sidewall. They are very quiet even near the limit. I didn't wash them out so I don't know how they act at the limit. As soon as the rears wear out, I'm buying them again.

Hands down these are the best all purpose summer tires on the market. Sure you can get stickier compounds for the track, but if you are looking for a tire that you can take to the track and then take back home and not have to replace every 5k miles, this is it.

This is a very nice alternative to the stock Bridgestone Potenzas. I'm a big fan of how those perform, but that is it! The PSS comes with a mileage warranty! They are also quiet, given the performance rating and low profile. My confidence level while driving on wet roads is extremely high.

I had the factory run flats on the car for the last 2.5 years and I had to replace them every 12 K miles. I needed to try something different to see if we could get closer to 20 K - 30 K miles of life out of them. I had read reviews of people's success with greater tread life when they switched to a non-run flat. It's only been a month, and the road handling and noise seem to be the same. Only time will tell if we get more value for our purchase. We will just have to have AAA on stand-by since we don't have a spare available.

I bought these tires based on reviews I read online. This was the worst purchase ever. They were very loud from day one. I drove on them for 8 months (22,000 miles) and now I am having to replace them because the steel is showing and they are unsafe. The warranty is only allowing a small amount towards replacement. Michelin has now discontinued the warranty on these tires. Obviously they are are not willing to stand firm behind their products. I will never buy another Michelin tire.
